  17. My first C compiler was Mix Power C, and I had a 286/12 at the time.
  18. I was biased at the time (I'd just come from 0.9MHz Apple II land),
  19. but I thought it was pretty fast.

  21. The plusses over Turbo C++ are that you can still get it new, and it's
  22. quite a bit cheaper.  Just no C++ is all.
